I'm planning a road trip to visit some places I've seen on the food network shows "diners, drive-in and dives" and "best thing I ever ate". At first I was going to drive the whole way, 8500 miles, but after some research, I know it's impossible. Now I plan on flying to Sacramento and driving the trip back. It goes as follows:
-gatsby's hamburgers, Sacramento, ca
-Las Vegas, Nv
-robertos Mexican food, phoenix, az
-restaurant iris, Memphis, tn
-di fara pizzeria, Brooklyn, ny
-lobster shanty, Salem, ma
-momocho, Cleveland, oh
- home, metro Detroit, mi.
It's about 4400 miles, I'd just like some tips and whatever you have to offer. I plan on 2 weeks. Anything will help, like a realistic budget plan and things to avoid.
