My wife and I are in the early planning stages of our "35th Anniverary Tour" or one week for each 5 years of marriage. This would be a 7 week road trip covering most of the East Coast. Tenative dates are mid-September 2011 through October 2011. One of those weeks will include a cruise from either New York or Boston to Quebec/Montreal and we want to also see Toronto and of course Niagra Falls/Buffalo. We are planning to use our timeshare credits to secure condos along our route that are roughly 300 miles apart, the idea being that we can do "day trips" of about 100 miles one way and see most of the area around our condo site. We obviously will not be able to see everything but definitely want to try an experience a good portion of the historic area along our route and of course a few "tourist traps" along the way.
We figure to fly round-trip to New York and travel no further south than Myrtle Beach, SC.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
