    Just looking at how to adjust this year's trip to take in the Sandia Crest Byway. Another inspiring route, Gerald. Thanks.

    Gues it is a little late for Peter but maybe someone else will see this
    There is a road 165 that comes off of 563 sandia crest byway
    You can take that secenic drive but is not for the faint of heart or for motor homes or travel trailers
    It is about a 7 mile unpaved non maintained road,but is traveled by various cars and trucks. There are no turnarounds to speak off and there is a warning at the start of the road
    We took the road up tp Madrid and a little past and soon became disapointed in all the houses that have cropped up along the way that takes away from the secenry
