  1. Default Driving From New York to Niagara to Boston

My wife and our young son are planning to spend city breaks in both NY and BOS and drive between via (and I know it is a big detour) Niagara Falls which neither of us have seen before.

I was thinking 3 days from NY to Niagara, a night at Niagara and 3 days to Boston. Does this sound realistic in terms of sightseeing and not too much driving each day etc?

Also suggested routes and ideas of places to visit would be much appreciated.

Welcome aboard the RoadTrip America Forums!

Here are some suggestions for things to see and do from New York to Niagara and Niagara to Boston. Three days for each leg is more than sufficient, requiring only about 150-200 miles per day and allowing plenty of time for sightseeing.
