  1. Default Road trip in May

We are planning on taking a roadtrip in May from Dallas to Pensacola. I would like to do some sight seeing on the way for children under the age of 4. Something informative and fun. If anyone has any ideas for the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama it would be greatly appreciated.

    Default Three for Under Four

Welcome aboard the RoadTrip America Forums!

There are several wonderful natural and historic sites along that route where your kids can have a great time and learn a few things, starting with the Creole Nature Trail in southwestern Louisiana and/or the Big Branch Marsh National Wildlife Refuge on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain. Next up would be, perhaps, a ferry ride out to Gulf Islands National Seashore. Be sure to stop at the visitors centers at each park and ask specifically about activities for small children.
