    Default Cleveland Camping

Does anyone have a favorite tent camping spot near Cleveland?

I'm heading that direction for a quick weekend trip, but my couple of experiences haven't been real positive, and Ohio State parks require you to stay all 3 days of the holiday weekend to make a reservation.

I've been trying to find county parks or other hiden places, but haven't come up with much so far.

    Default Tenting

When I was heading out there a few months ago I had the same problem with the state parks - I wanted to stay just on Saturday night but the reservations required two days (Friday and Saturday) even for non-holiday weekends (at least at Punderson).

I ended up staying at the Red Roof Inn in Willoughby.

Default at least I've got PA

Yeah, I'm currently at the Quality Inn Richfield.

I did find a campground in Stow, that might have worked. It looks like a small city run park that doesn't take any reservations - but after a long day on the road and then a tour of the RR HoF, I didn't want to drive out there and then have to turn back to plan B if it was filled up.

Thankfully, PA state parks did allow one night reservations, so I'll be at Raccoon Creek outside of Pittsburgh tomorrow night.
