  1. Default Tips on trip from Seattle to Wisconsin

I'm moving to NW Wisconsin with my boyfriend and dog. We're shipping most of our things, so we'll just be driving our 2 cars. We would like to camp along the way and try to keep the trip fairly inexpensive. Any suggestions/advice on taking I90 vs I94? I know 94 is always the quickest route, but is there more to see on 90? We're not a strict time schedule, but would like to make the trip in about a week and be able to see some sights along the way. Also, we'll have the dog, so we have to take that into consideration. Thanks for your help!!

I-94 is quicker if you are going to anyplace in Wisconsin north of La Crosse, but I feel that the sightseeing is better on I-90 - you have the Black Hills, Mt. Rushmore, and the Badlands.

It's a 3 day drive without sightseeing from Seattle to MSP, so with a week, you have a lot of flexibility there. You have plenty of time to see Yellowstone and Grand Teton.
