  1. Default Entrance to Grand Canyon

Will be in Grand Canyon in Feb. Is it possible to enter the park via the south entrance or is the traffic one way (west) from the East entrance

Welcome aboard the RoadTrip America Forums!

South Rim Drive, US-180/AZ-64, is the main road through the southern portion of Grand Canyon National Park and can be traveled in either direction. It generally follows the rim of the canyon, and has several pull-offs for viewing with the main tourist center at Grand Canyon Village where it turns from a north/south road from Williams and Flagstaff to an eas/west road from Cameron. You will sometimes see a recommendation to drive it from east to west along the rim because the scenic pull-offs will then be on your side of the road making it easier to get into and out of them, but the road can certainly be driven in either direction.

Just be aware that during the winter months it's possible to have road closures due to snow.
