Currently we (two women, 23 and 27) are researching a west coast road trip - at this stage no flights are booked.
- Current plan is to spend 3 weeks in July driving from Seattle to San Diego, with a predictable detour via Las Vegas - is it too ambitious to cover this distance in 3 weeks? We hope to spend more time around San Francisco, Las Vegas, Gran Canyon and San Diego. We would therefore be happy to spend more hours on the road at the beginning of the trip.
- We are London based and therefore not used to being in America for July 4th. Is it worth us trying to get flights that allow us to be in the country for this date? Or would there be little extra to see and do.
We are fairly flexible at this stage so any advice would probably be appreciated. Thanks for your time.
