Thanks for coming back and sharing your trip with us.

Some brilliant photo's there, I love how you managed to get the Bellagio fountain shots moving like that.
Unfortunately the Iron door saloon was shut when we went through Groveland, but it's a lovely old building with quite a bit of history.

Did you have any favorite moments or other thoughts that may be useful for other viewers of this thread ?

Well, there is a good burger restaurant at Mono Lake in the city Lee Vining called (Bar B Q) or something, don't know anymore, but those were the best on my trip ;-)

And don't go to the American Motel in Prescott, smelly dirty rooms with fleas.

And give the asian girl at the desk of Avis in San Francisco Airport (car rental) a kick in the face for ripping me off 800$ because of administrative lazyness... I still have to get it cashed back from my operator in Belgium right now. :)

Thanks for sharing, nobody wants to share a dirty room with fleas, and your list of things is very detailed, although I was more thinking along the lines of sunsets over a National park type moments then too many waiters on hand, Ha Ha ! ;-)

My thoughts are firmly with Dolly the gnome who now plays among the stars :-)

I'm glad you had a fun trip and hope you make it back across the pond again. Your list is great! The part about the ice is so true. I didn't realize how funny we are about ice. All your observations are interesting and worth some thinking about.

Some people have already seen the movie I made about our trip to America in september.
The webshow is around 47 Mb streaming, contains around 175 photographs and a few movies made by my girlfriend and myself, surrounded by music and has a duration of 15 minutes.
You can click the link below to watch it.

Normally, your browser won't run this show, you first have to download the 'Photodex Presenter Show' plug-in and run the installer afterwards to be able to watch it. The installer can be found on your desktop after downloaded. So if you see this warning, it's not a virus.

P.S. The last scene of the Bellagio fountain isn't working for some reason.
