  1. Default Roadtrip in October near L.A

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me or point me in the right direction for information. A friend lives in LA , so I thought I would be good to travel over to the states from UK, to visit. I want to use the chance to see a bit of America and plan to got for two weeks. I want to spend about five to seven days in America and then fly over to Mexico City to see my cousin for a few days. So I suppose I am looking for suggestions. The most non intense path I seem to find is, flying into San Francisco and then travel down to LA via car and making stops on the way. This would allow us to take our time, in San Francisco and a few days around LA and San diego and then fly out to Mexico. Is this a good idea or too intense etc? Please help if you ca and your expert advice would be appreciated.
