Welcome aboard the RoadTrip America Forums!

Denver to San Francisco via Las Vegas is around 1300 miles, so you're looking at three days just for the driving portion of it. Since you clearly want to spend some time in Las Vegas and are going to be passing some of the great national parks, such as Arches, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Death Valley and Yosemite, not to mention the Pacific Coast Highway, you'll need at least a week to even start to do this trip justice. Ultimately, the things you want to do and the time you need to do them are up to you, but that's where Id start looking and time managing

Cheers AZBuck for the info and advice, we can start planning our time scales for the trip etc.
