  1. Default Advice: SF to Colorado through Vegas

We are planning a roadtrip with our 9 month old and are looking for good parks or places to stop along the drive for breaks. We plan to stop in Vegas, Zion national park and Moab at nights on our way to Denver, Colorado.

We are taking I-5 to 58 to I-15 to I-70.

    Thanks-- K

    Default You're in luck!

AZBuck compiled a list of places to relax along all the major interstates in this post. It's a treasure trove of suggestions that should fit your needs.

Welcome to the Roadtrip America forums!

Other places that might not be on the list are highway rest stops. Some are in beautiful settings with short trails, playgrounds, or at least big grassy areas to stretch out a blanket and relax for awhile. You might also look for signs for city parks, schools (if they aren't in session you should be able to enjoy their playgrounds), and other recreational opportunities as the list is very helpful but it's impossible for it to be complete.

Anything else we can help you with?
