  1. Default Connecticut to San Diego - Any advice?

    Hey -

I am moving from CT to CA end of June. I am looking to pack the car and drive it, mainly bc I think it will be cheaper than shipping all my belongings. Doing it solo, and for speed.

Anyhow, I am looking for a speed route, ideally I'd like to try and do this drive in 5 days or less. Any tips / advice / fastest routes?

    Welcome to the RTA Forum!

It looks like the Direct Interstate route would be through Scranton, Columbus, St. Louis, Oklahoma City, Flagstaff, and Phoenix. Its about a 3000 mile trip, and if you are doing this as a solo trip, 5 very full days is the absolute minimum time you need to safely complete your journey.
