  1. Default Finding Quirky things - Texas to Virginia

I am planning a road trip with a friend next month. We have our route planned along I-10 and up through Mississippi, Alabama, and continuing northeast to Virginia.
How can I find fun and quirky things to do along our route? Like the largest trash-can, or ball of twine type things. haha

I have tried several internet searches but haven't had any luck.
    Any advice would be appreciated!!

    Default Quirky things - website

I don't know if we are supposed to list other websites, but this is a good one specifically for finding quirky things along your route....

I found the mother lode of travel links all in one place...should be helpful to all roadtrippers. Click on the ''Roadside Links'' box at the bottom.

    Default What about RoadTrip America?

    Rod,

The thing is... Debra's web site: "Roadside Architecture" (which I agree is a GREAT site) is just one of the many such road trip sites that we have profiled over the years. (See the 3rd listing on the roadside attractions page here).

I would think that you, as a RTA-contributor yourself, might consider RTA to be the mother lode of road trip sites....
