Vermont to San Fransisco

I am a 21 yeaar old male who just graduated college and looking for a little adventure. I am heading to San Fan and taking about two and a half months to get there. I plan to do alot of snowboarding in Colorado and VT (which is where I am now) I have already been on the road for like 18 days. I started in Florida, and managed to make some stops in Athens GA, Asheville, NC, Gettysburg, PA, And New York City (for new years). I am now in Vermont and my board hit the snow for the first time today. I am SOOOO PUMPED!! I plan stay with friends and do a little Globalfreeloaders.com and couchsurfing.com action for the rest of the stops. These are great option for the cheap alternative to a hotel.

Here is my basic itinerary...

Wilmington, VT
Gettysburg, PA
Chicago, IL
Omaha, NB
Denver + Boulder, CO (Going to spend 2-3 weeks here)
Salt Lake City, UT
Reno, NV
San Francisco, CA

I got it planned so I won't do more than a days worth of driving between stops. If anyone is interested in taging along for atleast part of it they are more than welcome. Right now I am riding solo.....

If anyone has any advice or questions please let me know. I'd love to get some dialogue started here... haha

It sounds like you are having a great trip so far. Have you used couchsurfing yet? We've had a few people talk about planning to use that site, but I've never known how much success people have with it.
