    Default This thursday?

    Welcome to the RTA Forum!

If you are planning to make your trip this week, then you just need to go over Tioga Pass, and then head down US-395.

If your trip is for later in the fall, after the pass closes, then you'll have a whole different story.

There are several places that call themselves the "Yosemite View Lodge" but I am guessing you are referring to the one on the West side of the park on CA-140? One side trip you ought to do, either using the NPS shuttle or your own car is the trip out to Glacier Point -- it has one of best views in the park.

And then like Michael says above, you need to proceed north to CA-120 over Tioga Pass to US-395 and then down to Mammoth Lakes.

If you have Google Earth then that does a pretty reasonable job too. Actually that is what I used first when planning a route. I'll then feed the route into Microsoft Streets & Trips to polish it up a little.
