    Default Camping

Camping is reasonably sparce in the Smoky Mountains in peak season - it's apparently the busiest park in the NPS system - so well worth checking if you need to reserve as soon as you know the dates that you will be there.

I stayed at Smokemont campground last April and that was pretty decent, if primative. However primative is the norm in national parks anyway, I guess. Nice location though. Sounds like it could work for you.

Take a look at and see if that helps. I am going to be returning in August this year and managed to book Cades Cove camping on that site.

    Have a good trip!
