    Default Travel sized products

I came across a website recently that I thought some of you might be interested in. It's called Minimus and they specialize in travel sized items. I'm not connected to them in any way and have never even ordered from them yet, but I've been having fun just looking at the variety of products they offer. (It's amazing the things that will amuse me these days.) They have everything-toiletries, first aid, food and laundry and cleaning products.

In general, I'm not a big fan of travel sized packaging. I tend to think it's a waste of money and can never seem to find the products I use in travel sizes anyway. I don't fly often, so when road-tripping I just find it easier to take full-sized versions of the things I use the most and leave the "occasional use" stuff at home. On the other hand-I do try to have a "be prepared" mentality when packing but it's so hard to anticipate everything you might need on a long trip, without over-packing. I'm definitely thinking that some of these individual serving sizes and packets will come in handy in that respect.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share this with everyone. If anyone has any other good sites for road-trip packing and storage items, please post them. I loved that one thread on here where someone (I think it was Judy?) posted all her great packing tips. We're getting ready to buy a Class B RV/Conversion van, so we'll have a bit more room for storage but will still want to limit the amount of stuff we cram in it. Right now I'm on the lookout for places to find good storage containers, travel gadgets and just space saving products, in general.

    Thanks for the link.

Also I have created a new thread for roadtrip gear and trunk packing tips. Take a look here.

    Default Oops, I'm sorry...

I don't know how I missed that thread. I should have just posted my link in there.

    Default No reason for regret

That is a good idea. I have added a link to this thread on that thread.

Default Thanks! I've never been an idol before!

I just sent our editor, Mark, some photos/info he requested of the stuff I carry in my car and how I pack it. I definitely should have been a Boy Scout. I'm prepared for almost anything. :-)

[Editor's Note: Thanks to the receipt of said photos, I am now (or I will be sooner or later) rewriting my article about trunk-packing tips and RTA will publish this new article, complete with all of Judy's amazing photos.]
