  1. Default Summertime Road Trip

Hi! My boyfriend and I are planning to take a road trip at the end of August. We have not the slightest idea where to go! Any suggestions? Any amount of traveling time is okay! We're up for anything. We're traveling from Tennessee and we were thinking Las Vegas!! (we're huge csi fans and we have to know what all the fuss is about! lol)

Ah - but you do! You're thinking about Las Vegas. If you could let people know what it is about such a trip that appeals to the two of you, then they could offer alternatives that you might find attractive. But as it is, you've left a pretty blank canvas where any suggestions would have a better chance of telling you about the poster than of being of help to you. I've never seen any of the CSI shows, but I doubt that they portray an accurate picture of Las Vegas in any event.

I have never been on a road trip, so this is a first for me. We are both really into historical landmarks, things like that. And we love love love old houses, things that are supposed to be haunted, etc.

Default Maybe a book would help

Here's a book that lists haunted places to visit. I've never seen it and it seems to have mixed reviews but halfway down the page are links to other books that might be better.

I also found a travel video about haunted places that might be helpful.

Here are a couple of books about Route 66 and National Parks that were pretty darn entertaining.
