  1. Default Travel Speakers for MP3 Player

Can anyone recommend good, battery-powered travel speakers for my Dell MP3 player? I have a cross-country trip coming up and I'm looking for speakers that produce high-quality sound. I would rather listen to the radio than my favorite music through poor-quality speakers. I've tried all those adaptors that transmit the music through the radio and other adaptors, but in my opinion, they sound like garbage.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Welcome to the RTA Forum,

I can't think of any battery powered speakers off-hand that are going to provide great sound quality, or provide any upgrade from a FM Transmitter-type device.

Bose might have something like what you are looking for, but I think your best bet would be to hard-wire your MP3 Player into your car stereo. If your current stereo doesn't have any inputs, you may have to buy an aftermarket deck.

I'd head to a specialty stereo store and see what they can hook you up with.
