• Lake Tahoe State Park - Incline Village, Nevada

      Roadtrip Attraction
Lake Tahoe State Park features camping, scuba diving, hiking, horseback riding, biking and boating in the summer months. During the winter, you can do some excellent cross-country skiing. At any time, you'll find some of the most splendid scenery in the country.

      If you go:
Sand Harbor is the most popular beach, and is the site of a Shakespeare Festival in late summer. But there are other beaches that are more isolated if you prefer to get away from the crowds.

Anyone traveling with dogs might like to know about this dog-friendly motel/resort near the lake in South Lake Tahoe that Ruth Mormon give rave reviews about. It's called Holly's Place and more information is online here.
