• Ronald Reagan Boyhood Home - Dixon, Illinois

      This is the house where Ronald Reagan lived when his family moved to Dixon in 1920. He was 9 years old at the time, and would stay in Dixon through High School, although his family moved frequently and only stayed in this house for 3 years. A statue of the 40th President of the US is also located next to the house.

      The House is owned and run by a non-profit group. Admission into the home is $5, and includes a guided tour, video, and access to a visitors center.

        Dixon is a fun town. It was a small-scale memorial arch. Every summer Dixon holds the annual Petunia Festival and during the summer many of the streets in Dixon are lined with petunias.
