• IOWA - 35th National Old Time Music Fest and Pioneer Exposition of Arts and Crafts

LeMars, Iowa.....As the 35th National Old Time Music Fest and Pioneer Exposition of Arts and Crafts nears it start date of August 30, going through September 5th, the Directors have added additional space for arts and crafts exhibitors.

"We certainly welcome anyone that has arts and crafts directly related to pioneer history and authenticity," noted Bob Everhart, one of the Directors. "We can even find some free space available to any craft that is directly associated with pioneer life style. We also have ample 10'x10' space indoors or outside (artists must provide their own canopies), and have a very low rental fee for these spaces."

The festival has been going for 35 years, attracts an audience in the thousands, and has well over 600 performers during it's seven-day run. Lauded by countless news journalists, the event also attracts international talent and visitors.

"We have New Zealand's champion yodeler coming this year," noted Everhart, "as well as two champion yodelers from Canada. Ireland's top yodeler is also coming, so is Hollands, so it's going to be a yodelers paradise for at least one of our seven days."

Applications for arts and crafts vendor space can be acquired by e-mailing Everhart at bobeverhart@yahoo.com, or simply phoning him at 712-762-4363.

"We are a 501-c-3 non-profit corporation," Everhart added, "with a great deal of emphasis on saving and preserving our music, arts, and crafts of the past."
