"Using Racist Memorabilia to Teach Tolerance and Promote Social Justice" is the mission statement of this powerful, yet horrifying museum. Thousands of items are on display showing how African-Americans and other minority groups have been negatively portrayed by stereotypes throughout history, and continue to be stereotyped today.

      If you go:
The museum is located in the basement of the FLITE Library at Ferris State University. Admission is free, although donations are accepted. Due to the sensitive subject matter, photography is not allowed and the museum recommends children be at least 12 years old and be accompanied by an adult.
