• Newtown History Center - Stephens City, Virginia

      This museum, housed in a brick building constructed as a tavern in 1819, features exhibits about the rich history of the community spanning nearly three centuries. It also maintains exhibits in two other nearby buildings, and offers tours that highlight the surrounding Newtown historic district of Stephens City, which distinguished itself as a center of the wagon making trade.

      Hours vary by season. Closed Mondays. Free admission during the Newtown Heritage Festival in May.
