There are no services in truckers driving the US 95 and US 6 highways. In 1993 the EPA shut down the gas station due to a severe leak and the rest of the businesses closed down shortly afterward and the town has been abandoned ever since.Coaldale, but the decaying buildings that remain are photogenic. Everything can be seen from the side of the road. Many choose to explore the buildings but do so at your own risk. The structures are very unstable and various types of debris are around.
