The Bay of Fundy is home to the highest tides in the world, and the Hopewell Rocks provide a very obvious example of just how powerful they are. At low tide, visitors can walk on the beach and explore the towering rocks, but 6 hours later at high tide only the tops of the rocks are visible as the beach is covered by 40 feet of water.

      If you go:
The admission fee is valid for 2 consecutive days, allowing visitors to view both high and low tides. Tide Tables are available on the Hopewell Rocks website listing the high and low tides for each day.
