• Vista House at Crown Point - Corbett, Oregon

      Built between 1916-18 as a memorial to Oregon's pioneers and to provide "a comfort station for the tourist and the travelers" on the Historic Columbia River Highway, Vista House sits atop the Crown Point promontory and provides quite stunning views both up and down the river 733-feet below; little wonder it is now one of the most photographed landmarks along the entire length of the highway. A five year restoration program was completed in 2006.

      You may want to pay a visit to the marble and mahogany restroom facilities, accessible via the circular marble stairways or by using the one-of-its-kind lift.
