• Historic Florence, Arizona

      Established in 1866, Florence is one of the oldest towns in Arizona, and has a colorful history as a mining town, county seat and site of the Arizona State Prison. Home to the Pinal County Historical Museum, McFarland State Historic Park, and St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Monastery, Florence has an audio tour of 29 historic buildings, 25 of which are on the National Register Of Historic Places. Special events include Country Thunder USA in April, Florence Freedom Fest in July and Florence Multicultural Festival in October.
