• Russell's Truck and Travel Center - Glen Rio, New Mexico

      Roadtrip Attraction
One of the more interesting truck stops along Route 66, Russell's is a family owned business at the border between New Mexico and Texas. The Route 66 Cafe serves up nostalgia in both its decor and its cuisine, with generous servings of Fifties fried favorites. But the best reason for dropping in is the auto museum, which houses about 25 antique and notable automobiles, along with many other collectibles, including toys, and vintage cash registers and gas pumps. And admission is free.
