• Fort Huachuca Museum - Fort Huachuca, Arizona

      Fort Huachuca Museum features exhibits that show the history of the Buffalo Soldiers who were stationed at the fort for a number of years. Other exhibits illustrate the colorful early history of the fort, life on base for soldiers and their families, and units of women who were stationed here. A sister museum, the nearby Military Intelligence Museum, shares the military intelligence story as it developed in the Army.

      If you go:
      Both the Fort Huachuca and Military Intelligence Museums are open from 9 AM to 4 PM Mondays through Saturdays.The museums are closed Federal Holidays (except Veterans Day and Memorial Day) and Christmas and New Year’s. When you drive through the gates of the military base, you can obtain a map. Admission is free.
