• Mesalands Dinosaur Museum - Tucumcari, New Mexico

      Roadtrip Attraction
Affiliated with Mesalands Community College, this modest building in the small town of Tucumcari features a highly impressive exhibit of dinosaur and paleontology related items, including the world's largest collection of bronze castings of fossils and a rare Torvosaurus skeleton. Many items are designated as hands-on, and there is a laboratory on site where you can watch researchers preparing unearthed specimens. Field research excursions are also made available to the public.
