• Bedrock, Colorado

      Roadtrip Attraction
There are three good reasons to pause for a moment at the tiny unincorporated community of Bedrock, Colorado on Highway 90 before entering/after leaving Utah: the Dolores River Bridge, a steel Through Truss Bridge built in 1952 and on the National Register of Historic Places; the characterful and extremely photogenic general store; and, well, the fact that it's called Bedrock. It's a place right out of history. Willllllmaaaaa!

      If you go:
It's not quite a ghost town but it offers all sorts of opportunities for the photographer looking for 'empty-looking back road America'
