• Silver City Museum - Silver City, New Mexico

      Roadtrip Attraction
Devoted to the people and history of southeast New Mexico, the charming Silver City Museum is housed in the restored 1881 home of mining magnate Harry Ailman, an attraction in itself. Permanent collections are focused on two centuries of mining in the region and early commerce in Silver City, there's a rolling program of special exhibits ad events, and hands-on activities for children.

I've stayed in Silver City a couple of times and it is a fun town to visit. Silver City is the home to the Big Ditch Park, which is a nice park even though it's a ditch.
