• Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park - Kanab, Utah

      Roadtrip Attraction
These vividly colored dunes have been created by a gap between the Moquith and Moccasin mountains which creates a funnel effect on the wind, giving it the power to carry grains of eroding Navajo sandstone and deposit them here. There's a walkway which allows access to visitors of all abilities and a half-mile nature trail for those with limited time to experience the dunes. The park is a favorite destination for off-highway vehicle (OHV) enthusiasts and offers 1,200 acres of open riding.
