We're planning to take our travel trailer from Vancouver, Canada to the southern California coast in February. I know that there could be problems with winter weather on our way and I don't know which route would be best.
Could anyone give advice.

Welcome to the RTA Forum!
If you are just looking for the fastest way to get to Southern California, then I-5 is far and away your best option. There certainly the possibility of snow, especially around the passes in Southern Oregon and Northern California. There's really not much you can do about that, however, since any detour you take would almost certainly take more time and would also take you to potentially snowbound areas.
The other alternative, of course, is to take the Pacific Coast Highway for all, or part of the trip. This would add several extra days to your trip, but there is remarkable scenery that really makes it an amazing trip if you can fit it into your schedule.
