Radio Free Italy

We headed for Radio Free Italy on the advice of Los Angeles reader Marc Shapiro, and we were glad we did. It's right on the edge of the Potomac, and a marina full of sailboats and yachts is right next to it. The evening we were there, one of them happened to be the USS Sequoia Presidential Yacht, recently restored to her former glory.

Radio Free Italy has great food, great ambience, and an especially great bartender. If you have the good fortune to visit some day, we hope it's an evening that Teresa's on duty. Don't forget to ask her for dessert!
